Get ready for a spicy spring.  The color red most often represents romance or intense passion and it blazed down the runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  Jenny Packham’s romantic full skirts took center stage in the love fest while rose and tribal prints by Carolina Herrera proved that red can be simultaneously sexy and lady like. Michelle Smith’s collection displayed bold graphic red prints and Nicole Miller showed that red stripes and billowy shirts can have a casual appeal. The most daring display of red goes to Anna Sui, whose fiery red accessories heated up many of the designs in her collection.  One glimpse and you’ll be ready to rock red, too.
